We Web Design

These Terms apply to all services provided by We Web Design (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you (“you”, “client”). By paying any deposit or fee, or submitting your intake form/content, you agree to these Terms.

 

1. Services Overview

We provide custom website design and related services using our modular system: clean, fast-loading, mobile-friendly sites with no unnecessary fluff.

  • 1-Page Package (Paid upfront): Single Home page with Services, About, Gallery, Contact). Basically everything you need. Includes basic On-Page SEO, copywriting/enhancements based on what you provide, contact form, social links (if relevant). Delivered within 7 business days of receiving your full content.*
  • 4-Page Upgrade (Paid upfront): Up to 4 static pages. Includes an extra round of revisions before launch. Delivery typically within 1-2 weeks of form submission and content receipt.*

*Timelines are estimates. If we’re busy or content is delayed/incomplete, delivery may extend (up to 4 weeks max in busy periods). We aim for quick turnarounds.

 

2. Pricing and Payments

  • All prices in AUD
  • Full payment required upfront before work starts.
  • Ongoing: Hosting, maintenance & support – $69/month (or $690/year prepaid, saving 2 months). Includes site uptime, basic email support, security basics, and 2 minor edit credits per month (e.g., text/image/logo/URL changes).
  • Domain name registration is your responsibility. We can assist with registration for free if requested, but you handle renewals directly with the registrar. If you miss yearly renewal payments, the domain expires, your site goes offline automatically, and we are not responsible. Monthly hosting fees continue until the end of the current billing period.

 

3. Your Responsibilities

To keep the project moving quickly and smoothly, we need your help with a few key steps. The timeline officially starts once you complete the following:

  1. Pay the full website design fee ($495 or upgrade amount) upfront

  2. Submit the intake form (we’ll send this after your initial enquiry)

  3. Provide your content

    • Logo (high-resolution if possible)
    • Photos / images
    • Text / copy for the pages (rough notes are fine – we’ll polish it)
    • Any other details you want included (e.g. social links, opening hours, services list)

    We offer basic copy tweaks and improvements at no extra cost. If you need major new writing, research, or extensive rewriting, this can be quoted as an optional extra.

  4. Register and manage your own domain name Your domain (e.g. yourbusiness.com.au) is your most important online asset.

    • You must register it in your own name (not ours).
    • We can help you choose and register it for free if you’d like assistance.
    • Renewal costs are typically $15–$25 per year (depending on the extension).
    • It is your responsibility to keep the renewal payments up to date with your registrar. If the domain expires due to non-payment, the website will go offline automatically and we cannot prevent this.

  5. Start the monthly hosting & support plan (optional but recommended) Once the site is live and you choose to use our hosting, maintenance & support plan ($69/month), billing begins automatically from the launch date. This covers keeping your site online, secure, fast, updated, and includes 2 minor edits per month plus email support.

Important notes

  • Please provide content in a timely manner so we can meet the delivery timeline (usually 7 business days for the basic package).
  • Delays in receiving content, domain setup, or payment may extend the launch date.
  • We’ll keep you updated every step of the way.

 

4. Revisions

  • 1-Page: Includes two rounds of revisions (reasonable changes like swapping images, updating text, minor layout tweaks).
  • 4-Page: Includes three rounds of revisions. Revisions do not include redesigns from scratch, new features, or major scope changes. Extra rounds or out-of-scope work = extra cost (we’ll quote first).

 

5. Refunds and Cancellations

No refunds. No “change of mind” cancellations. This isn’t a retail purchase. Hosting can be cancelled anytime by emailing us. Your site stays live until the end of the current paid period. No refunds or credits for partial months or unused time. If hosting stops, the site goes offline and all site data may be lost.

 

6. Ownership and Access

  • You own your supplied content (logo, copy, images, etc.).
  • We own the final design/code structure (unless otherwise agreed). You get a non-exclusive licence to use it on your site.
  • You receive full WordPress dashboard access if requested, so you can make your own edits if you want but if you break it, fees will apply to ix it.
  • We retain admin/hosting access while you’re on our hosting plan for support and maintenance.

 

7. Intellectual Property and Content

You warrant that all content you provide (text, images, logos, etc.) you own or have full rights to use. Do not supply anything infringing copyrights, trademarks, or privacy laws. We are not responsible for any legal issues arising from your content and you will take full responsibility for any copyrights infringed including copying content from other website.

 

8. Liability and Disclaimers

We build sites to be fast, mobile-friendly, and functional, but we don’t guarantee specific rankings, leads, sales, or traffic. We are not liable for lost business, downtime (beyond reasonable hosting standards), third-party issues, or personal or third party subjective opinions. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

 

9. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. We may update these Terms occasionally – continued use of services means acceptance. Questions? Email admin@wewebdesign.com.au.
